Mailing List Rental

Cost

12 cents per name, minimum order of $75.

Delivery

Pressure-sensitive 1" x 2 5/8" labels by USPS priority mail. Shipping and handling is included unless a faster shipping method is required. We can provide the list by e-mail, but require pre-approval and reserve the right to refuse electronic delivery.

Time to delivery

Please allow 2–3 weeks for delivery. For an additional $20 rush fee, we will process your list immediately upon receipt of payment and required documentation.

Search parameters

Our general list is around 3,500 names. It includes current subscribers to Midwifery Today magazine and The Birthkit newsletter, recent product buyers and conference attendees. You may select any or all of these groups and specify how many days back to select records.

We can select records by state or postal code. You must provide us with the specific states or ranges of postal codes. We can also select records based on profession but do not recommend it because of the number of records for which a profession is not listed.

Complicated searches

Any searches outside of basic search parameters will be charged $35 per hour, billed in half hour increments. The charge is in addition to the minimum order charge. Complicated searches are generally those that involve division of the list into inconsistent elements such as selecting State A for one time period plus State B for a different time period. In addition, lists involving complicated searches cannot be processed on a rush basis.

Payment

Pre-payment is required. No list will be sent until payment is received. In addition, a copy of the signed contract and a sample mailing piece must be submitted before the list is released.

Ride-Along Mailings

Your flyer "rides along" with a Midwifery Today mailing!

We regularly send a variety of small, targeted mailings to our subscribers and product-buyers. We'll include your flyer for around 25¢ per piece for a single sheet insert. All you have to do is send us printed flyers folded to fit into a #10 envelope, and we'll take care of the rest.

Holiday Pack

• Our Holiday Pack is an attractive mailing of promotional flyers and coupons sent to Midwifery Today customers by October 31.
• The approach of gift-giving season is the perfect time to share your product or service with midwives, doulas, students and other childbirth professionals.
• Reaching 3,000 interested consumers costs just $399, which works out to 13.3 cents per piece. We do all the work and pay the postage!
• The maximum weight accepted is one-half ounce with maximum dimensions of 8.5 x 5.5 inches.
• Midwifery Today must receive your mailing piece and payment by September 15.
